Graffiti Art and Fashion

Originating as street art, graffiti has been propelled to a global genre and a powerful influence in design, fashion and graphics. This exhibition focuses on its influence on fashion design and in context with the movement to graffiti’s acceptance as a viable art form. It includes work by such fashion designers as Comme des Garcon, Martin Margiela, Stephen Sprouse, Antonio Berardi and Fafi, along with examples of graffiti by such artists as Basquiat and Keith Haring, among other contemporary artists.
